When the owners of Zorros initially met, they had no idea that their backgrounds and stories could be so different. Jesse, who has worked in the restaurant industry for almost 20 years, fell in love with the Dominican flavors that were introduced to him. Samantha is proudly the first in her family to be born in America. She grew up eating her mothers and grandmothers traditional Dominican cooking and learned to cook it herself at an early age. The first meal she ever cooked for now husband Jesse, was her white rice, black beans, and Dominican chicken. Their shared love of cooking and experiencing new foods led to their current adventure. The Foxes are so thrilled to share this cuisine with the people of Pittsburgh and anyone else who travels through.
